GSP/Fitch was amazing if for no reason other than Fitch's ability to recover. I can't imagine anyone else in the division lasting 25 minutes with GSP. Wow.

Also Brock charging Herring after that first punch had to be terrifying. I'm impressed with Herring for not just cutting his losses and tapping then and there like he was Bo Cantrell.

Did anyone else think St. Pierre looked a little nervous when Penn said he wanted to fight him?

nah, i think he was just a little flustered since he just won a huge fight and wasnt expecting to get challenged just so soon like that.

anyways that has the makings of being one of the greatest fights in the history of the sport. i cant wait for that one to happen

Default wow

Just got done watching the PPV and man did brock look itchy in the first round but his wrestling kicked in and he held heath down and controlled him throughout the fight.

Manny oh manny...you looked good, coming down to the octagon and then jumping in front of the camera...after that...well just don't watch the replays.

Kongo is a beast and appears bigger than his weight says. But he did very well and showed more maturity in his fights lately.

Brock did a great job like everyone said. He threw that first bomb and I am surprised that Heath's head stayed on his body. If he can keep up this performance throughout his next couple of fights and maybe learn some more BJJ he could be a true force. Big Nog has great stamina and punchtaking ability but against Brock...not looking to good.

Ken Flo vs. Huerta - Thought I would see more action from Huerta but Ken Flo implimented a great game plan he never actively engaged in a fist fight with him and Huerta was schooled.

GSP vs. Fitch - wow what a test of wills. Fitch took an asswhooping and didn't quick gotta give him props for that. GSP vs. BJ would be fantastic I would give BJ the edge simply because he is an animal and GSP has alot of skills it could come down to whomever would counter the other better. GSP did seem a bit *holy shit* like when BJ jumped into the octagon.

Overall a very good show lots of fantastic action and a sick sick knockout.

Gotta love not paying for a ppv and getting to see the whole thing off RS in a few hours after it airs

*rolls eyes*

did you happen to see lesnar's bjj skills? he had completly no idea what he was doing. he got the mount twice and couldnt even land a single punch/elbow. herring gave him his back for at least half the fight and all brock could do was land a couple shots here and there. i'm not sure how anyone could have found that fight exciting. it was a very dominating one sided fight but be honest with yourselves, if that was any other fighter out there you guys would have been saying it was the most boring fight in a long time. i hope to god the ufc lines him up with gonzaga next so all his wwe antics can be put to rest. nogueira and anyone else with a good jiu jitsu game would embarrass that clown. fuck brock lesnar. frank murr ftw.

Soze has mounted the correct. Brock Lesnar is a dynamic athlete and that can't really be questioned. That said, Lesnar is definitely not a complete MMA fighter. Granted, he has been training some bjj, but it appears that all of that training was only defensive bjj. I personally think he's all hype and doesn't deserve a shot at Big Nog.

I still think that Lesnar has the potential to be really good and his size, speed, and wrestling alone are enough to beat most of the HWs out there.

Having said that, Soze is pretty much right. He didn't look good against Herring. I blame part of that on Herring's turtle guard, but Lesnar made no effort to actually take his back and use his hooks. He was happy to ride Herring and throw a few punches every now and then while not even thinking about going for a submission. I'm not even sure Brock has even seen a RNC on TV.

Another side note, but I think Lesnar is legally retarded. He reminds me of Lenny from "Of Mice & Men".

Glad I didn't put the bet down on Herring.

Really thought he could pull it out.

Props to Brock though for controlling Herring like he did.

I was surprised he did so little when Herring turtled up though.

All in all it was a good event. First round of Maia v. McDonald was awesome.
