holy shit you guys!! a dr. where i work was arrested @ 3 am this morning for fucking RAPE!! i just saw him yesterday and turn on the news this morning and there he is. DRAMA!!!!

RICHLANDS – State and local authorities arrested a local physician this morning and have had officers posted at his home and office throughout the day.
Richlands Police Chief W.A. Puckett said Dr. Roy C. Gomez of 281 Linwood Drive was arrested around 3 a.m. Puckett said Gomez was charged with forcible rape and was taken to the Richlands Police Department for processing.
He was taken to the Southwest Regional Jail in Tazewell later in the day. Puckett did not comment on what led officers to charge Gomez. Agents and a van from the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations were at the home.
Officers were at the home and Gomez’s office on Cedar Valley Drive throughout the day. Crime scene tape was posted at both locations. Puckett said the officers were there awaiting the arrival of federal agents but would not say why the agents had been called.
Gomez has been in private practice in Cedar Bluff since 1985 and in Richlands since 1979.

we're not really sure yet. alot of the details have yet to come out. some speculate that the rape was maybe a case of sex for pills gone wrong and that's why the feds have been called in. it's just crazy. this affects a lot of people. he has patients in our hospital, he's the main dr. for 2 large nursing homes on top of having his own practice. he's such a little prick anyways. isn't it weird that the article said forcible rape. isn't all rape forcible?
