I took a tumble form about 4 feet up and my left shoulder took a lot of the impact.
Not an unusual thing for me but now my left hand hurts and when i grip or make a fist, my pinkie hurts pretty badly.
I have no idea what's going on. Someone told me i might have nerve damage. I was wondering if I should go to the doctor or this might just heal itself.
If anyone could shed ANY light on this it would be appreciated.
there is a nerve cluster in the shoulder, and it is possible you bruised it. Take a muscle relaxer, or some sort of anti-inflammatory. If it still hurts tomorrow, and you can't use the arm or lift it, go to a doctor
Read up a little and see what you think. I cant say one way or the other if you should see a doctor, but you may have a severe sprain or maybe you injured a tendon. I would ice alot-the swelling on the inside is probably complicating it and could possibly be pinching a nerve... check and see what you think... If it doesnt get any better in a few days I would probably check in with a doc.... Get better
Sorry just a little more-if you can't lift your arm to shoulder height-I would really see a doctor...

Yeah, I'll agree with that. I'll also add that you may have damaged what is known as the "S.I.T.S" muscle nerve cluster. Thats a bitch right there. It will heal for the most part, but it will act up for no reason at times as well. I'll dig up the info I have on it.
And if it is nerve damage, I hope it heals quickly and fully. Well, hope whatever it is does...but I hate nerve issues. When they become chronic problems, well, the meds suck for that problem.
