Pretty sure that one says "infidel." I was surprised I didn't see more "meat tags" but I guess those might have gone out of style since I was in back in the early to mid 90s.

I knew a guy that wanted out of the corps. After he tried to tell our Company Gunny that he was queer (to which the company guns handed him a knockwurst and said "prove it, show us your dick-sucking style"), he went out one weekend and got a tattoo on the back of his skull within the hairline (wouldn't see it if he had hair, but he had high reg so it was visible). He thought they would just kick him out. Instead he got gigged for "destruction of government property" and because that was his fourth NJP that year, he was told that was a pattern of misconduct and he spent three months in the brig on Lejeune before his discharge paperwork ever even got off the base CG's desk. Ha ha!
