At $500 to $750 is this worth the coin? I say as with all apple products, wait until the 2nd or 3rd generation and it will be worth it.

It's amazing how my disdain for Apple over rides my overwhelming laziness and gets me to post for like the third time in six months. If I had an extra $500 laying around I'd pick up a Joojoo. It has everything the ipad has and alot more. It's only missing two things; a picture of a fruit on the back, and the smug smile that comes with owning an overpriced itoy.

How is this useful in any way? Even a simple thing like typing will be a pain in the ass, you either have to hold it with one hand and type with the other or lay it on a flat surface and type as it rocks back and forth.

Pretty much. I, too, think Apples are more form over function for the most part. They're not necessarily bad products, but they're also not tremendously great products. The big X-factor is the fact that all Apple products cost twice as much as their competitors yet their cheaper competitors can do as much if not more than them, but people still treat Apple products like it's money well spent. It isn't.

I'd like a Power Mac G5 for video editing because they are, sadly, a better computer for video/film editing. But you know what? A PC can still get the job done, and I'm not about to fork over $5,000+ for a video editing system when I can get a comparable, if not better version of it, for $3,000.

This thing is the same way in relation to netbooks and/or the Kindle

It's like the iphone. The iPhone has a YouTube app, but you can't browse YouTube's webpage via the browser as I understand it, only through the application.

Well, a lot of websites use flash as their menu navigation, you won't be able to play 90% of online flash games anymore, you won't be able to see really awesome websites that utilize flash to make their website unique, and let's be honest here, the coolest websites you see on the internet are flash based. Even though they may not be ideal for a full website, unique websites that go viral, i.e. Subservient Chicken and the like, all utilize flash.
