I've been killing these spiders in my house for years now, they've always been larger than the normal spiders you see, but not terrifyingly large. Well I just killed one that was humongous, and I finally decided ot take a picture of it to see if anyone knew what kind it was. Unfortunately it's dead so I couldn't get a good picture of it alive, but they are close and high quality, I'm hoping someone might know what it is I've been killing dozens of over the years.
I don't know a thing about spiders and I have always assumed they were your garden variety spider you find anywhere, but deep down I've always had ab ad feeling that they were much worse, like a Brown Recluse... I'm in Mobile, AL so if you need a location that could help.
Thanks

I can kill tiny bugs, but that thing looks huge and disgusting. Girly Sarah would come out and I'd run away screaming. I can't believe you took pictures. Makes me want to gag looking at it.

I'm leaving this city in a week and a half and I've killed nearly 30 of these things over the last 5 years, and the largest ones were at most half the size of this one.
I've never bothered to take a picture and find out what kind it is till now. Gues it's my curiosity to know whether or not these things I've nonchalantly killed over the last 5 years could've killed me if I wasn't careful

Wow, I just can't imagine. I spray raid around the windows and doors in my apartment every month or so to keep the creepy crawlies away. I'm sure this will give me cancer eventually from the fumes.
