Early reports on the incident said he was "acting angrily" and pointed the gun towards the camera. That was probably wrong. I'm no expert on movie set dynamics, but I'm a bit unclear as to why you would line up a camera angle to put the director (Joe Souza) and cinematographer (Halyna Hutchins) in direct line of a firearm being fired. I think that again may point to the haphazard way the entire production was being handled.
