What Do I Do About The Mouse In My Apartment?

heres my story

i was taking a whiz, with the door open, cuz i have nothin to hide when i live by myself. and as im aiming, i see movement to the side behind the toilet. i try to reach back to turn on the light but cant reach and control the stream. so i finish up and then turn on the light. i see the bugger peaking around from behind the tank. as i look from the other side. so as i keep him cornered and i dump the garbage can in the sink and chase him from one side and drop the upside down garbage can on him. and this garbage can has a bunch of little holes in it, so he climbs up to the top. i wasnt sure what i should do with him so iwent back to the couch and finished watchn my ball game. after an hr i went back in the bathroom to see what it was doing. as i got there a say him climb back to the top of the can so i grabbed a magazine and slide it underneath and picked it all up, while still not sure what to do with the mouse.then the moment of genius. i pulled the magazine out and he fell in the toilet and i flushed it. mice can "dog" paddle very good btw

Because it relates to the chicken crossing the road....to get to the other side! I can tell you that if the big lab came out they would run away! can try putting some peanut butter on some gum, the mouse eats it than cant get rid of it, although the problem w/ that is the mouse will prolly die inside your wall, but after a week the smell should go away. best bet is glue board, the mouse gets stuck & if it cant gnaw off its leg it should be there in the morning!!! gl

Just an update on the original story that prompted this thread.

I bought some weak $20 trap but the mouse didn't go near it.

I finally caved and went with the RatZapper. God bless that thing.

First night it was out, nothing.

Then I turned off the trap. Didn't notice anything different. The next night, I turned it on. In the morning, blinking red light, little mouse.

I wasn't thinking there would be more than one, but I left it on anyway. Sure enough I was surprised by another mouse the next night.

Now I assumed they were really finished cuz I really only thought I had seen one.

A couple days later I caught the momma. She was a big 'un.

Haven't seen any since. So yeah, I'd recommend the rat zapper. Just some dried dog food and the shock of their life.
