Noting years in conversation, 04 vs 2004... 98 vs 1998... 2010 vs 10?!?
In most peoples lives, they generally refer to the year, being a 2 digit number... like 1995, would be 95 IE: back in 95 my cousin bought a kangeroo'
2010 is right around the corner. I dunno bout the rest of you, but the same line just dounst 'sound' right to me:
Back in 10 my cousin bought a kangeroo'
this stretch between 2010 and 2019 is an interesting thought on how people will refer to those years.
Traditionally speaking, people refer to years as a 2 digit number... pick a year and its a 2 digit number... 2004 became 04. 1995 became 95. 1963 became 63... However for the teens it doesnt seem to 'sound' right...
its gonna be wierd saying, back in 12 it rained every friggin day for 3 months!.....
I dunno... i know this is TOTALLY random, but its food for thought...
