Slut?
I was inspired to start this thread by some comments in another about DrunkenStepgirl. I wonder what others think of the word 'slut', its definition, its stigma, its use from girls, its use from guys?
I know girls in high school who were tagged as sluts, and it ruined them emotionally. Other girls seemed to resent them just because of the tag, and not for anything that they'd actually done. I know guys in school that will take a girl out, and tag her as a slut because she WOULDN'T give it up. There are girls who willfully admit to being sluts, and find no problem with the tag at all and, in fact, enjoy the "liberation" it provides. What are your views?
