im depressed :(

so my snuggle buddy for the past few months has been a three year old husky my family adopted from a local rescue. his name's maverick and he's the most amazing dog i've ever had. recently he's been ditching me to sleep outside with all the gross things that go along with being outside and it's breaking my heart. i think maybe it's because it's getting too hot for him inside? any advice?
