Geaux Saints is starting to gain some momentum on DSF
Default Your opinion.....

I was wanting some of you guys' and gals' opinions about my brother's band and their music. If you have the time to download and listen, I'd like to hear a few opinions about what you think. A few disclaimers:

-I know they are not the second coming of (insert greatest band of all time)
-This CD is from 2001 (they have improved since then)
-The music is kind of generic when it comes to guitar riffs and such
-The singer is not the best in the world, but I think he has an uncanny knack for writing song lyrics.

The reason I brought this up is because they've been apart for a little while, but are "getting the band back together". Going to a practice or two caused me to pull out some of their older music and start listening again. They have quite a few songs that I like that have good beats and rhythms. And like I said, I think most of the songs have pretty good lyrics.

I've thought about starting a thread asking other DSFers to post their (or friends/family) original music, just for a little taste of something different. If this has been done before, I apologize for repeating. If not, post away! Again, if you have time for a quick listen....just wanted to know what YOU GUYS thought of the music. Here's the track listing:

Azure
Weave a Web
Immune to the Abuse
Storm
Revolve (version 2) - Version 1 is better in my opinion
Bleed Away
Tide (version 2)
Levitate
