I was a DJ in strip clubs for a decade. I retired in 2004 and ripped my entire physical CD collection to 320/48 mp3 for "archival" purposes. It came out to 119 GB (15,789 tracks) and I've burned it to DVD and copied it to other hard drives several times just in case. With external hard drives getting so cheap, I bought one for my 4Runner and play it through the USB port.
The only downside is that for every good song I have there is some vapid pop tune as well. It's hard work being a nudeDJ, but the scenery was nice.
Maybe one day I'll figure out how to upload and link tracks here.
