Seen a few over the last few weeks, but been a tad distracted. Apologies for the lack of posters
Noah:
Insulting, patronising mess of a flick that had an ending that makes less sense than the nonsensical source material it was derived from. 1/10
Amazing Spider-man 2:
A mess from start to finish. Disjointed scenes, out-of-place music and boring as hell, despite the frenetic action scenes. 3/10
Godzilla:
Boring, drawn out, full of characters you don't give a fuck about. The mildly positive score comes from the last 15-20 minutes alone 6/10
X-men: Days of Future Past:
Highly enjoyable, focus not only on Hugh for the whole bloody movie, which was refreshing. Amazing visuals, Lawrence in a bodysuit spreading her legs a lot and the always Awesome Dinklage. 8.5/10
Edge of Tomorrow:
Just got back from seeing this even though it's not out in the states until the 6th. Enjoyable, coherent, and damn funny in places. Mildly flat ending, which I won't spoil, but given the dearth of quality movies released so far this year, this is (so far) my best movie of 2014
