i have always loved gymnastics. i wanted to take them as a child but my mom sucked and wouldn't let me. it doesn't seem like the russians dominated like they used to. i was watching some of the training footage from the chinese camps and these guys had these little tiny girls and they were stretching them like crazy. it's hard to describe but it looked brutal. back breaking almost. i just feel like they'll never get to have a normal happy childhood b/c they'll constantly be training and everything they ever get to do or not do will be because of trying to make it to the olympics. idk i guess i was just sad for them.
