it is overrated.
no championship game= bullshit. that also means less games played, and less chances to lose another game or be exposed(as osu would have been the past TWO years)
michigan and osu, the best teams in the conference(historically) are doing shitty again this year, yet for some reason, the media stays on the dick of the suckeyes.
theyre like the yanks of college football...even though theyre not relevant(which, soon they mathematically will not be), everyone wants to talk about them (and ND)
my main gripe is the conference has been gift wrapped the chance to go to the BCS championship the past two years, and both times, the OSU suckeyes have had their asses handed to them. if that's your champion, how good can your conference be? especially when you don't even have a championship game to decide whether they are your conference champion?
and to think, the talk in 2006 was to let michigan into the title game to have a rematch...jesus
