I never thought I'd admit this, but the iPod Touch is pretty awesome. Family got me the 4th Gen 32GB one and it's like crack. I put a bunch of my music on it, ebooks, audiobooks and that damn Angry Birds game.

I like being able to VPN into my server, I like netportal which lets me browse my network shares and even play music and videos directly off them without sync'ing to the device.

It's the perfect size for ebook reading, IMHO and has officially replaced my Tapwave Zodiac as my ereader. I only wish it had one touch access to the brightness control or that the auto-brightness worked worth a damn.

I have a Pandigital Novel ereader, but with it's 7" screen, it's just too big for reading. Especially laying in bed reading before going to sleep. I guess I've gotten to accustomed to really light weight ereading.

And, YES. Calibre and Stanza are a must for getting all the different formatted books on it. I must have over 35,000 books in PalmDoc format. Sucks that there's nothing on iOS that directly reads them.
