My wife has a cousin who got a vasectomy 5 or 6 years back. Well surprise, 2 weeks ago his wife turns up pregnant. They are all naturally shocked. His wife posts the news on facebook and tells everyone that nobody told them that you had to get followup tests every 5 years to make sure you're still safe. And of course my wife has heard of other vasectomies failing from people she knows.
So now guess who has to go and beat off in a cup to get his checked 8 years after it was done??? And until then we are going to use condoms. Oh and icing on the cake, it was even suggested that we use condoms until she goes through the change. She's 45 now. 10+ years of rubbers with a vasectomy???
