Frida wrote to Emmy Lou thanking her for taking such good care of her former husband Diego Rivera, who was in S.F. painting his fresco Pan-American Unity. Emmy Lou was one of his assistants. On Dec. 8, 1940, Rivera?s 44th birthday, Frida and he remarried.
