Pretty harsh gallow.
Not the biggest Cornell fan- his voice doesn't stand up to all songs- but I think it's more than just luck that he's stuck, when noone else has.
15% of Soundgarden, 30% of Temple of The Dog, and 30% of Audioslave are classic; and he was at least at the helm. He pulls off songs like "Spoonman" & "Set It Off" with that gravel scream better than most. And even "Fell on Black Days" & "Like A Stone" will be radio ready after we're gone.
Besides, we don't have much in real rock to hold onto - that's why this album disappoints me. Even if it is a good fuckin' dance album, it's a loss of a frontman.
