Just got back from seeing it and it's bloody awesome. It's weird with it not being a prequel and having new characters having to establish themselves, and Daisy is a little spoiled by the Hermione effect where she's far too fucking pretty to be stuck in the place she is, and Finn is a little spoiled in that although John Bogeya is English, he seems to be portraying 'random over-excitable black guy' which is out of sorts with the universe.

Still, it's still amazing, and there's enough fodder here to keep a new set of fans going for a while, with just enough unanswered questions. I just hope that with all the spin-offs and backstory movies in the pipeline it doesn't turn into Marvel. That shit's getting tiresome
