Yea, I'm late

I've encountered many cracked distributor caps that still allowed the engine to run.

Back in '86, I arrived at a friend's house to help him with his '67 Firebird. He was leaning over the engine (no hood) and waving to me as I parked. I get out of the car and walk up to him to find out that he wasn't waving, he was having a spasm. His hand was on the distributor cap, which was cracked. He couldn't let go. Thankfully he didn't die when I line tackled him.
