Capture Streaming Videos

Does anyone know a program that is free or relatively inexpensive that captures streaming video from the internet? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you have Firefox there is a free extension called Download helper which does it

I use this and it works wonders...You have to also obtain an FLV player b/c all of your video downloads will be in FLV format...

What sort of restrictions does this add on have? If anything is streaming, you can capture it? Or it is limited?

Not much. Media Player Classic (and maybe VLC, haven't tried) will play them and a free program called MediaCoder will convert them.
