Just Got an iPhone

i have to say, i'm not a huge fan of Apple's tactics, but this thing is pretty amazing. i owned a Treo, and the iPhone blows it away. i was wondering if anyone else has one, or thoughts in general. thanks

I don't personally have one but a co-worker of mine does and he says it's a love/hate relationship. He's replaced it 3 times, the screen freezes a lot when he tries to unlock it but he loves everything it can do.

I'm really curious about them, and I need a new phone. The biggest questions in my mind are quality (Apple isn't known for quality, especially on hand-held devices), support (maybe because of the quality issues), and price of service (I have looked through the AT&T website briefly, but didn't find plan pricing).

I need to investigate further...

Pricing blows I hear. Plan on spending no less than $100 a month for service, especially if you like texting/downloading.

i have friends that have had the original since its release and they never had any issues with them. i have the new one and i hope for the same. i abused my treo and always had problems with it, but a co-worker of mine has the same treo and its as good as new, so that may have something to do with it. the service is a bit more expensive, but web and data is unlimited.

i still have the original iphone, we dont have the 3g network where i live yet so i see no real need to switch to the new one yet. i got mine the day they originally came out and its been a trooper so far with taking abuse...the only real damage has been a dent in one of the corners, some scratches and a small color distortion on the screen. considering i am notorious for destroying other pda phones about every other month or so, i would say these things are pretty damn well built.

I think the Iphone is a great phone if you aren't using it for a business purpose. The internet is great and it's a very stylish phone. That said, I'm staying loyal to my crackberry.

Anyone have suggestions for an iPhone clone? Good or bad?
