Weird Problem with My Computer Clock
The time on my computer will randomly set itself back an hour, maybe like every 4 days or so. I just realized it was 1:30, not 12:30.
I don't think it's a virus (I have my virus scan set to every other day) and I've gone into the Time and Date Settings and can't seem to see anything I could change which would prevent it. I'm running that piece of shit Vista on a fairly new Gateway Laptop, in case you need to know. |
do you have Daylight savings turned on?

also make sure you're in the correct "time zone" such as central, mountain, etc...

I noticed when it first happened but I have another small little program that checks it at least once a day and adjusts as needed. A couple of months ago I was driving back up to my base from down south... I was taking some back roads through rural Nebraska and noticed that my cell phone clock would be off by an hour anytime I was in the middle of nowhere but be right anytime I was around or in a sizable town. All the cell towers had not yet been adjusted to the new schedule. |
All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:51 PM. |
