anyone know of a good place online for smokes

don't know of a site, but I do know here in ohio, the state just sent out tax bills to over 4500 people who bought smokes online. If you don't pay, they are going to withhold tax checks.

Same happened to me in Jersey a couple years ago.Drive to PA and Newports are 40 a carton.I had a 800 number for $29 smokes,I'll see if I can track it down.

Find someone in the military to buy them on base and ship them to you.

That was going to be my advice. Maybe find someone that lives close to one of the boarders and work a import deal. Duty free is the way to roll.

Wish I could help you out on that, but I have never had to look into it. Carton here is about $25

I take it that you're not near any Indian reservations then cause I seem to remember that they didn't charge tax on them. Granted you can only bring 2 cartons out at a time but still I know some people who live in southern California who go down to TJ to buy theirs. They take some friends who don't smoke and each brings 2 cartons across and don't have to pay taxes on them.

finally I have a reason to post. I use http://www.smokes-spirits.com/ cuz they are really cheap. they are quick too, but sometimes they let an order drag out (no pun intended) if missing one thing, so i only order one thing at a time. they have a good operation, especially if you like hard-2-find brands. i like zig-zag menthol cuz it's a lot like newport, and this is the place with the best price.rock on ThomasTP and BinaryJ.
