The Westboro Baptist Church finally bite off waaay too much
 

About a week ago, the WBC 'responded' to a threat from Anonymous with regards to their hate-filled websites and the picketing of military funerals. Funny thing is, Anonymous never issued the threat, at least no-one on IRC had any recollection of doing so. Plus the rapidity of the WBC's response was so swift, it came as a surprise to no-one that it was generally agreed that the WBC orchestrated the initial release to gain attention (after all, they are the biggest attention-whoring trolls the interwebz have ever encountered).

This was a little too much for Jester, a well known and very well-equipped hacker who normally goes after jihadist sites with his Xerxes worm

So all their sites are still down, and have been for a while. Apparently the domains are completely fucked too. A couple of days later, crazy batshit bonkers Shirley fucknut Roper agreed to a radio interview with a member of Anonymous. Apart from the ranting and interruptions, the magic starts at the 7.00 mark

I just love that she's grinning inanely throughout. She has absolutely no idea of what's actually happening, being so lost as she is inside the prison of her own mind. The page that was hacked live on air is now down, but it contained the addresses of their fax machines and printers (apparently the righteous don't use firewalls) so anon have been bombarding them with pages and pages of nothing but black, using up all their toner, causing them some financial discomfort (1000 anons sending 1000 pages every hour on the hour adds up)

This is an ongoing concern, so if you guys hear anything new, post it here

I didn't read any of it, but someone should go do something about that.

I read it. Not only are they eating up the toner and paper but sending black pages over and over again will destroy their fusing units, not to mention how dirty the insides of those machines will get.

I work on copier and faxes. Sending page after page of black through them not only eats up toner and paper but it will destroy some of the internal parts 20 times faster.
