Im no computer expert but i doubt ill be needing any help I just wanted to say how great it is that everyone is so willing to help one another on this forum! great stuff!

PC or MAC?
 

Know anything about MAC's or just pc's,because I have questions for both.

Just PC's, but there may be someone that knows Macs.

For the past month my computer will go into stand by if its idle for a short period of time. I have no clue how to make this stop. Any ideas?

Have you checked your power setting in the control panel?

easy, just don't ket it set idle....JK....:D

I got an 02 gateway and everytime I try to burn a dvd or, it seems, when I watch video for a while or even just use my pc for great lengths of time my screen will freeze and scramble. Let me see if i can post a pic of it.

Any ideas? I'm fuckin' stumped and frustrated. Everytime it happens I want to chuck it out the fuckin' window.

I know mac a bit. What do you need to know?
