The Police
 

So the news today has video of a cop dumping a crippled guy out of his wheelchair on the floor. Not to mention all of the internet videos of cops doing all kinds of shitty things so I'm curious how everyone feels about cops.


My personal opinion is that most probably aren't bad people, but the job makes them evil fucks when they have the uniform on. Every time I get in trouble with the law I get told 50 times that I need to respect the police. I've yet to get a legitimate reason why. My last run in was a broken license plate light and I was questioned for 20 mins about whether I was on drugs or drunk. Luckily for me neither was the case so I was a complete dick knowing that I had done nothing wrong. I almost got maced but whatever. I just don't get how cops can be so disrespectful to me and expect me to kiss their ass. Those motherfuckers aren't around when my car gets robbed every 6 months, but they have time fuck with me for 1/2 hour about a license plate light. The job of the police is to disrespect people and I fucking hate them.

WOW, talk about totally random. I remember this post. It was shortly after I spent some time being questioned about my activities b/c of a license plate light issue. I still hate the bastards.

I respect police, without them our country would be in turmoil. Although, I do believe some of them abuse their power at times and can be pussies behind a badge.

I especially like being face first on the ground with my own arm around my neck with 4 of them on me but the still feel the need to taser me and say im resisting arrest.

Just like any race religon ect there is always going to be the bad group getting attention honestly i know more bad fire fighters than cops and you never see anything bad about fire fighters...

There's some off duty cops at my job that moonlight as security every night. All of them are pretty awesome, but I don't doubt that alot of cops are dicks. Although, I've been pulled over twice, and didn't get ticketed either time (for running a stop sign and for running a red light), so I've got no bad experiences.

You've been pulled over twice? What are you 16?
