Need a little help please.
 

I have been trying to remove this bullshit Napster encoding on some of my older tunes and cant find any way to do so. I have tried alot of different softwares and everyone of them suck. Does anyone know of a converter for this?

I tried for 2 days now and got nothing. Well that's not entirely true, I did get a virus.

I would say fuck it and download them again for free and don't waste your time.

I would agree 100%, but these are a couple of live phish tunes and I never found out what show they were from. Not that big a deal but I figured while I was searching I would throw it out here.

well there is always the tried and true workaround of burning the songs to an audio disc and then re-importing them, thus, removing the DRM.

Can you burn Napster songs to an audio playable disc?

No. I have NERO 8 and that wont even burn it.

Well, the only thing i can tell you that i have done successfully is - i have an older MP3 player that records. I just use this little 1/8th to 1/8th jack and plug it in my computer headphones out and record it to my old MP3 player then transfer the digital file to my computer.

I used to steal sounds effects from sites that way.:D

But theres gotta be an easier way, especially if you dont have something that can record digitally. I just hate installing programs on my computer that i will only use once or twice.

I have tried that but it didnt work. That is only for "active" licenses. The song were original bought from napster, thats what is so funny about the whole thing. I can grab albums, movies, and porn for free without any problems, but I want to put a purchased song on my mp3 player and no luck.
