Oktoberfest!
 

If you haven't been to Munich around this time, then I suggest you start planning a visit in the near future. Babes, Bosoms, Bier, und Bratwursts! It can't get any better. OK, so the roasted chicken and those donut like pretzels covered in sugar and cinnamon ain't bad either. This year's event ends on October 5th.

Definitely something on my "bucket list"

I suggest you do it soon, there's been grumblings that organizers are limiting the amount of people to enter because the number of international visitors just exploded in recent years.

and book early otherwise you'll never get into the tents!!!!!!

Yeah that is good advice too. I sat at reserved tables located on the 2nd level at the end of the Löwenbräu tent above where all the beer mugs and the taps are located. A bit intimate for groups of friends but it was also dark and isolated from the action down below amongst the center of the crowd and the oompah band.
