I've had to humanely euthanize many animals. Its very sad. I must admit I shed a tear a few times doing that. I think people get a little too attached to their animals. It's weird to me.

Incidentally, the Episode of Doctor Who when Rose and the Doctor end up on different parallel universes after the Daleks are sucked into a null void always gets me. It's the music.
