Honestly, unless you're a hermit, what others think about your appearance is more important than what you think about it yourself. I'm not saying you shouldn't take pride in your appearance, but if you don't think you're hot but all these dudes beg to differ, who do you think is right?

Ouch, I've been there before.

I had my temple pierced for not even a whole month before it started rejecting. Needless to say, I didn't try it again. Yeesh.

My first attempt at a septum rejected, as well as my nipples, though I managed to get them to take the second time around. Then my daughter tore out my left nipple piercing. It sucked.

my nipple piercings felt like they werent healing so i took them out

I had to take out my only attempt at a septum piercing. Apparently you're asking for an infection if you do it yourself while hammered at 3 am.
