The Eagles, Hell Freezes Over Tour, at the United Center in chicago. It was 1994, and I was 10. Two guys in front of me were smoking doobies the whole night. i ended up falling asleep near the end of the concert, woke up during the encore. when I got home, all i could taste in my mouth was pot. i think that was the first time i got high.

pink floyd. my felon ex-stepfather took me when i was a kid. i'm sure he stole the money to buy the tickets.

Poison with Tesla in Hampton, VA when i was 13!! There was some other 12 or 13 yo there with his parents and they made him leave with in the first 20 min of Tesla b/c they dropped the f-bomb like 20 times!!! haha.. loser!

jan 1996 Rusted Root at Penn State. Won tickets off the radio. 1st purchased ticket Dec 96 Stone Temple Pilots. fuckin awesome.. they did their encore all acoustic from a stage lowered from the rafters.

Saw an unknown band called Rage Against the Machine (and some other band?) open for House of Pain at the Troc in Philly during the winter of 1992. Great show and still the only concert I went to where the sprinklers went off in the middle of the show...and no they didn't stop for a second!

Judas Priest/Iron Maiden Cobo arena in Detroit. I was 13. Yes, it was as good as you might think it was. My hearing didnt come back for 3 days.

My first concert was supposed to be Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters March 24, 2000. But I somehow won tickets to the Creed concert for March 23, 2000.
So embarrassing.. first concert: Creed. A story that I won't be telling the kids. |

My first one was Garth Brooks. Some guy in a white suit was playing piano when it started and then Garth came out of a hole that opened up in the stage. I thought it was a pretty cool entrance at the age of 10.
