Need a cat?

There is the cutest cat living next to my apartment complex... but it is a stray and the manager is really tough on strays. He takes them to the pound. The cat really likes me (cause I surreptitiously fed it some hot dogs) and he asked me to help him catch her by Friday. I have to find a home for her, and I am soo sad.


Too sad to post boobie pics, or think up catty comments about the awesomeness that is Jo, Becca, Amy and that new girl, Melissa. (btw, tku for your pics, they are fantastic.)

Don't be sad-is there a humane society in your area or an animal rescue? Thats sad. I hate seeing pets suffer because their owners are irresponsible.. :( Im in texas, but I have my hands full with my monsters...

I know, I just don't understand how someone can dump an animal!

I totally understand. I volunteered at my local humane society for over a year and its heartbreaking... Im a complete animal lover and it really upsets me also. :(

my gf has rescued 3 cats and 2 dogs, all were abandoned that she found workin out of town

Every pet I have ever had have been rescue animals. They just love you more.

All of my pets have been from shelters with the exception of my two betta's. But we used to get all kinds of crazy animals when i worked there-Geese, chicken, guinea pigs, Pot bellied pig once, you name it we saw it-ferrets... Its really a sad thing...

one cat was a kitten that she found and he was out in the neg 20 C, so thats about 0 deg f

and im not sure if the cat is twisted now from the cold or is trying to show its love but he always sleeps between her legs, and sometimes when she is under the blankets on the couch, he will put the blanket in his mouth and start grinding on her, lmfao it funny

i would in a heartbeat but i live in nj, and my mom wont let me adopt this cat at a local shelter thats been there for 3 years, she says it wont get along with the cats we have, but try to bring it to a humane shelter so the landlord doesnt dump it at the pound.

we've lost our touch

SO, i have decided to keep the cat.

I have convinced my grandma to watch her for me until december, (when we move into a new apartment/house) and them I will get to keep her.


I named her Hotdog, and got her a collar and a name tag and everything.

I know how you feel. I took in a feral cat a few months ago and she is the sweetest thing in my life! She's mad at me now because I just picked her up today after getting her fixed, declawed and microchipped, but she is a sweety.

Hot Dog is at the vet now, getting her shots and stuff (I'm sure she's pleased about that) Here she is:
