IPad Thoughts...
 

First of all...fuck all of you for calling me a fan boy of apple....:D :D :D

I purchased the ipad to replace lugging my laptop on short business trips because I wanted to have an all in one ipod, video player, email and web surfing. I know, why not use your work laptop...because our IT guys that things so tightened down so tight they can hear a fly fart. I can't have personal photos or anything on the work computer. The ipad fit the bill. Has all my shit on it for quick trips and pics/video/ipod. Over priced? You betcha, just as in every "lifestyle" brand, there is a surcharge for this tablet computer. Do I like it? Yes. Do I wish it was $200 bux? For fucking sure.

I've been running it through the motions for the past 2 hours.....the processor is fast and the screen is awesome.

Looks like a piece of crap.

Overpriced.

Doesn't have enough functionality.

Made by Apple, so I wouldn't touch it with Foetus' dick.

No Saturday shipping for UPS in my area, so I will be getting mine Monday. Been watching all the tech sites, and watching the hands on videos and reviews. I think I am more excited about it now.

I would have waited for the 3G version, but Western Oklahoma is lacking in 3G coverage.

I can see the potential for the iPad. I think it will be great for traveling sales reps.

So you can have your personal photos on the iPad.... ok but the only way to get them on and off is via the internet. So have fun with that ghey shit.

Maybe you can clear something up tho, does the whole no multitasking thing extend to not even being able to listen to music while browsing the web?

Apple native apps multi task....just not 3rd party.

Yup. I got the 1st gen iphone and it was alright but compared to the 3gs it is a piece.

Actually you can move data back and forth using the little white dohickey that charges it when connected to a USB. Whatever the hell it's called.

And yes you can listen to music while surfing the web and using apps.
