I'm the middle child in a family of 5 kids, also, I'm the only girl. My older brother and I have always loathed the oldest, but he could beat us up... So we got clever (or mean, depending on whether Casey's telling the story or not.) When the other two came along, we realized that one was a mini Casey, and one was going to be awesome, so we took the awesome one under our wing. The rest is history :)
My youngest brother is the funniest person I've ever met. When I was 12, (he was 11) we were sitting on his bed eating crappy candy that our grandma gave us for Christmas. He was imitating her perfectly and I laughed so hard that I peed on his bed :/ Years later when I got married, his toast at my wedding was, "It seems like just yesterday, Bridget was peeing on my bed and now here she is, marrying an asshole." I almost peed from laughing then, too.
My older brother is hilarious too, and also a good sounding board. He has no "line" to cross, so I can be as awful as I want to when talking to him. We were discussing gifts for our now menopausal (aka: psycho crazy) mom, when I suggested Golden Girls brand douches he didn't bat an eye. My bf walked away shaking his head in disgust at me, but my brother thought it was tame... I can make nambla jokes, and he'll laugh with me and participate too. There is no one else in my life that I can be that completely myself around.
So yeah, I tell jokes because they make me laugh. I'm trying to be more concerned about how other people react, but it's a work in progress. I got funny so I didn't have to be lumped in with my retard brothers. That's about it.
New question coming in a minute..
