Are you sure it's the same? I have a friend who went back in that served the same time I did. He told me that it's not the same brownie. I swear to god that brownie from the late 80s was like cocaine. A GI brownie and water and you could survive a week!


Where's striker and shotgunner etal...? How long have you guys been in? Were you in the first Gulf War? Isn't the brownie different? If not ask one of E-7s those fuckers are always around for a couple decades.

I'm certain it's not the same brownie then. The brownies we had weren't anything close to that potent.

I honestly can't recall there being a brownie in any of the MRE's now, but it could be in one I haven't had. The best ones, IMO, are the spaghetti and meat sauce and the chicken and noodle ones; but they don't come with good candy so it's a trade off between wanting a good main course or good candy.
