I don't know. They have a few former 1st rounders on D that are solid if not spectacular. And don't forget Owen Daniels. He's a legit TE. They still have some holes at safety and LB, but I think they just need to add a few pieces to their D to go with their really good offense. And a big running back to pair with Slaton would help.

am i the only one who think this plaxico thing is being blown way out of proportion? i mean, granted, its a serious crime to have a gun thats unregistered, but he's not a serial offender like pacman....im not even a giants fan, just someone who thinks the media(namely ESPN) are taking this story and running with it. and we're not gonna hear the end of it even when its resolved.

Nope - totally agree. Being an iggles fan, I naturally loathe the man....but in the hierarchy of evilness....it doesn't rank that high for me. I've been intentionally avoiding ESPN radio this week.

Is he stupid? Yes. But I download illegal music everyday too. I also look at porn at work. I also lust after Nestanesta and I'm married. Granted, those actions can't accidentally kill somebody...but it's silly for me to judge. I'm willing to bet that some in the DSF community are in possession of an unregistered handgun as well.

Nothing like playing the Raiders to make your team look like the Super Bowl contender they should be.

I disagree. I think these athletes think they are above the law and it pisses me off. If that was an average joe you probably would not hear much about it, but he would be going to the crow-bar hotel for 3 years. I think he should sit in jail for the same amount of time as average joe. I guess the media does run with it a little to much, but what the fuck else they have to talk about.

The guy from the Jets who just got arrested this morning with pot and an uninsured car could have walked away with a hand slap, but decided to give the cop a hard time because he thought he was above the law. What a fucking idiot. His car was uninsured and he could have walked away with a fine. I just dont get what goes through their heads.

beastley 12-05-2008 07:41 PM

mainly the fact that they think they're above the law...cough oj cough....

i have no respect for people like oj and for people like this jests player(dont know who, by the way), but i really think plax is a good guy. ie NOT a pacman or someone like that.

i have problems with him getting off over and over, and im a cowboys fan. people like jared allen who's been arrested 3 times for DUI...that gets me.

Plax is, aside from an athlete with most likely a very greedy agent(the holdout before camp), IMO a good guy with no major incidents before this.

he fucked up, true. but truthfully, most of the time, in court, not everyone gets the max sentence. i figure he may do some time, but end up back to normal within a yr.

and i still, as a team, wouldnt shy away from him(barring any major injury from the gunshot wound)...the guys a talented player and i think, a good guy.

artaco 12-05-2008 08:11 PM

I know what you mean heat and I agree with that. Plax is definitely no Pacman,
and very talented.

roccostiff 12-07-2008 07:25 PM

Great play by Romo.. Go Steelers.

Bob_Dobalina 12-07-2008 07:40 PM

fucking green bay. They actually have decent players, but they play sloppily and are too inconsistent.

And about Plaxico, if it happened in california, he would walk. But it was in new york, so probably not.
