First show I went to was to see Three Dog Night with my parents when I was a young'n. First show I chose to go to myself was Rage Against The Machine, definetly one of my favorite bands of all time.

If you mean non-classical, It was most likely Cat Stevens around 67-68. Although it seems there was somebody before that. A lot of years have gone by. I have a notepad somewhere where I jotted them down....
Might have been Jethro Tull. Pretty sure that Chicago, The Allman Bros., The Dead, J. Geils, CSN&Y all came later.

Saw a ton of concerts from 68-80.

The Arctic Monkeys are cool. I actualy DO like them. I am kinda into the group, "The Morning Of" at the moment and I think Emory has great potential as soon as he figures himself out.

Hard to beat Coldplay for professionalism.

in an abandoned warehouse on long island that was meant to be the common ground collective 2, but they couldn't get permits.... the police shut the show down just as H2O took the stage... i think i was 13 or 14. it kinda changed my life forever, as they say: punk rock saved my life. thanks for making me think about it.
