Nah, I made it to the last 4 bowl games, and last year's Orange Bowl was by far my least favorite (not only because we lost to Kansas). It definitely didn't help that I left my house in Charlotte at 1 in the morning, drove to Miami, got lunch, tailgated, watched the game, then drove straight back to Charlotte, but I just didn't have much interest in Miami. I'd much rather get the SEC auto-bid and head to N'Awlins every year.

I had a glimmer of hope for UK to have a chance to win the Liberty Bowl, but with Cobb out now and Moncell Allen being ineligible coupled with Hartline starting, I have no faith. Can't wait til next year.

I think it will be a close game. Our offense is just so bad this year. They did sign a five star qb for next year.

That's like winning the gold medal in the Special Olympics. Question for ya. How many Pac-10 teams will be playing for the National Title? Another question. Which conference has won the BCS National title the last two years? Thank you, my point is proven.

It's too bad only one school in the conference is a respectable institution of higher learning, and it has a piss poor football team. USC might as well be LA's NFL franchise, they certainly pay the players enough.

I went to the Texas Bowl and watched the Rice Owls clean up on the Western Michigan Broncos. Two entirely unnoticed 9-3 teams from piss poor conferences.

Who gives a damn, until a playoff of elimination is instituted, the BCS is a farce in my eyes. Want to talk about numbers, the Ivy League blows everyone in terms of national titles. OK so it mostly during the 19th and early 20th centuries but it still on record. If it was all in consideration the 2 top conferences in terms of winning % of BCS games should just match up against each other. That is the Pac-10 and the SEC.

Agree, USC should be the future NFL expansion team. But in terms of respectable higher learning institutions. That is very subjectionable with overlapping fields of study. UW has one of the best post grad architectural schools and it's nursing school is also the best in the nation. It's marine studies are not too bad. Univ. of Washington has or had the highest or 2nd highest in terms of garnering grants and research funds.

The simple truth is, there should not be a playoff system. The problem this year is that Oklahoma and Florida lost early in the season while Texas and USC lost late. That's college football. Even if they went to a playoff system, there would be someone crying they didn't get into the field and deserved it. The system works well enough. Like the past two years, when 1-2 played no ne said anything about it. It's only when someone's team loses out that they cry for a playoff. By equation if Ole Miss beats TTU who beat Texas who beat oklahoma and ole miss beat Florida, then why isn't Ole Miss in the title game?
