I seriously admire the dedication and athleticism of all these dance schools that put on the parades. I read somewhere that some of the parade routes are up to 10 miles...can anyone verify that? Imagine dancing your freaking ass off for 10 miles?! Jesus..no wonder they have killer asses and legs. In heels none the less. Simply amazing and definately one of the things to do on my bucket list before I die. Im sure being there in the moment is absolutely amazing. :D :D

there are some that go on for many kilometers, but not the fancy ones (posted in this thread). most of these women spend half a year preparing to show off in carnival.
