Living in Ohio myself, this was a HUGE deal for us.

Issue 2 banned Constitutional Monopolies. Thankfully, this passed.

Issue 3 would have 1. Legalized recreational weed. 2. Legalized medical weed. 3. Created a Constitutional Monopoly of only 10 companies who would forever be the only legal growers of pot. Of note: not one of those companies is owned by an Ohioan, or even an Ohio business.

Issue 3 failed only because they tried to force the monopoly down our throats.

I think as long as they try to commercialize the law, it'll keep failing. Legalize it like tobacco/alcohol, tax its sale and be done with it.
