For some reason I'm watching Saturday morning cartoons, and I'm surprised by how many of these shows center around religion, is that normal on network tv?

really? how so? i mean, is it implied or are they outright talking about jesus and shit?

I'm watching NBC and they play Veggie Tales(which is on now) which all biblical, if you've never watched it it's basically a bunch of vegatables who get letters delivered to them from kids that have problems with like a bully at school or is it ok to lie, and then they take a story from the bible to answer it. My best friends little brother is obesses with the show so I've seen it at her house and it';s on now for background noise.

Then there is this other show and idk what it's called but its about two kids who live with their grandmother, and they go on space adventures, and also have conflicts because their brother and sister, and they always learn a lesson, then they tell their grandmother what they learned then they all pray and thank the Lord for the lesson they learned.

What's wrong with learning your lessons from GI Joe like the rest of us did?
