well her nephew/my cousin is getting married...so i dont know if she HAS to, but it would be hard to reschedule, i think. its just really nervewracking and i hope some countries can aid indias efforts to fix this situation.

I totally hear your point on this, but again look at what is causing this problem and what I said earlier about the demand for US and UK citizens.....Do you think a US presence would solve anything or make it worse. There is a theory known as blowback, which states that the US meddling in the affairs of other countries has effects that will be brought back onto us IE SHah of Iran being put into power, Hussein being trained by CIA to fight Iran, Bin-Laden being trained as CIA operative, etc. Have all come back to bit us in the ass with hostage situations, gulf wars, and modern middle eastern tactics..Inserting ourselves depletes us more financially, uses more troops, etc. But on the same side what is one supposed to do, stand by idle and watch? Very tough situations and times we are in. People want the United States to mind their own business until some shit goes down in their country, and then the cries beg "why weren't you here sooner". Damned if you do, damned if you don't. National security doesn't mean shit, the U.S. will only go in if there is INTEREST or some way of them gaining from the situation. Just talking out loud here heat, not trying to put words in your mouth or stir anything, I know it is very hard considering you have been to these places that were targeted.

Also I hate the word terrorist. I think that word just replaced the word Communist of the McCarthy Scourge, Witch during the Witch hunts, and Infidel during the Inquisition.........these words are thrown around to intimidate and scare..........

i see where you're going but why not be with someone who provides a comfortable living so you can do whatever you want? get a new career, go to school, start a business, volunteer etc... It's only belittling if you think they ought to be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen all the time.
