Yeah, it was pretty terrible. I was working on the filtered side of the grit pond. Nasty but a lot of the stuff, such as tampons, were all ready filtered out.

It was a cold, rainy day. Around 37 F with a steady drizzle. I was up in the mountains of North Carolina. Beautiful country. I even saw a deer run out of the woods while going to calibrate the county flow flume.

I'm one of those kind of guys that can even find beauty in a shitty job.
