ive been waiting for the tebow talk to start...where yall been? as a gator who was in school during the tebow/meyer years, i love him. ive never been into the whole religion thing, but i respect his right to free speech, so more power to him.
as for a qb, i must say, i never thought he would be a great qb in the nfl, but since he's such a lightning rod topic, and everyone either loves or hates him, i have to stick up for my guy. i loved him at uf, there's no reason i wouldn't stand up for him once he's in the nfl. i just find the WWL and the sports world's love to talk about tebow interesting. but i guess thats what happens when theres a need for a story. |

by the way, the passing was never a problem in college...everyone assumes he just ran his way to first downs and tds--not true.
the spread and the inferior talent in college fball were obviously huge parts of his success, but i remember being in the stadium and seeing the ball fly, and receivers actually catch them. he's no one-trick pony. this is my favorite play i've seen riley make in person. i was at the other end of the stadium, so i had no clue what even happened: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wguM...eature=related |

Tebow does it again. Maybe this guy is the second coming of Christ.

i was in the air during the game, but when i landed, i checked asap and just laughed to myself. go gators, tim tebow is killing that shit.
here's an excerpt from an email thread with me and my friends: "there are so many reasons he is winning, including his Defense playing outstanding, the kicker making superhuman kicks, ridiculous play by the inferior opponents, but you have to hand it to him. especially because we all watched this firsthand at UF, so we get it. He wasnt maligned because the system worked in college and it was tailored to his strengths, but we knew and loved him as a football player because the passion he showed was literally his biggest strength. His teammates fucking love him and even as a second year player, they are behind him 100000%. (i'm not exaggerating; it really is 100000%). Let's enjoy the ride...unfortunately, I don't believe it will last long, but we can take part in it while the bandwagon still has room." |
^^^ +1
I think you are right, the Tebow magic is going to end soon. In a way I feel bad for the guy. He is under a microscope in this super hyped up situation. He is just doing the best he can with the skills he has in this situation he has been put into. |

^ This Tebow talk reminds me of the Brady talk around 10 years ago. Brady went on to prove it over a career. I think Denver gets steamrolled this weekend.
