My first apt was a bachelor in the attic of someone's house.

Anyways,the landlord would never turn on the heat,and no amount of blankets would keep me warm.

It was so cold,that I could see my breath when I talked.

I even resorted to using the hairdryer on me for warmth,but it didn't work.

I knew my rights as a tenant,but didn't complain because my landlord was a biker.

He made a lame excuse to kick me out one day,after I had just paid a month's rent....

I was petrified to come back and get my shit,so I had my sister and her friends go get my clothes.lol

Ever since that,I have never taken the heat for granted.

And I feel so grateful to live in an apt where I control the heat,and it's included in my rent.
