If you have an old script, sometimes you can soft talk the eye place into selling you some, but I don't recommend it if you haven't had an exam in 3 years.

Damn 3 years.. the longest I've gone is 2... but if you wear you're glasses daily.. you're prescription doesn't change by much... i think

It depends on the person. When I was in my early 20, I had just finished growing. My eyes changed about every 6 months until about 23, but I only need an exam once a year because it was so small. Now in my 40, I had a big chance and it's getting worse.

in nj they wont sell you contacts unless you have a valid perscription which is only valid for 1 year

Amy, I'm out of Jersey 28 yrs so I don't know the law there. Do you have any health insurance and if not, is your income below $15,000?

Your ins. should help pay part of the cost of the exam. If not, there are way to to make it pay if you know how.

the company i work for owns the insurance company i use so they cover everything
