This is actually pretty funny to me because a friend told me a story about how when he went to the Apple store they tried to make him feel like shit for owning an iPod that was a year and a half old.

He said they laughed at him and told him that it's not even worth fixing and he should just buy one of the new 160bg ipods. Laughed at him! What assholes.

I got the same treatment with my 80Gb. I told the guy if the newer more expensive iPod's were big enough to hold a 3rd of my music collection I would already own one. The asshole seriously calls my bluff, and I bring my backup drive to the store instead of waiting for my new battery (I live like 5 min from the store) told him to plug it in and check the music folder size (143Gb). He looked up and was seriously pale, just handed me my iPod, and my backup drive back and didn't say a word.
